BFI MK3 - Single Motor Mount - Front / Rear - Stage 3
KIT INCLUDES:
- One set of front engine mount inserts or one assembled rear mount.
- Hardware for mount
STAGE 3 mounts are Delrin, and fall in between poly and solid metal as far as stiffness goes - VERY STIFF!
The Stage 3 mounts are designed for pure performance, at the expense of ride comfort. They will hold the motor and transmission very securely and help get all the power to the ground. If you drag race or are after total performance, then the Stage 3 is for you. If you are concerned about vibration, then the Stage 2, or 1 are a better choice. FITS:

- MK3 Golf/Jetta TDI
- Corrado VR6
The mounts shown above were removed from an ABA with less than 100k on the clock. Notice the high mileage insert is noticeably "squished" vs. the new insert on the right. Over time the weight and movement of the engine can compress the stock mount from 1/4" (shown) to 1/2" - or even more in some cases! Damage tends to be worse on higher mileage cars as well as VR6 engines.
